Carolyn Boser Newhouse has over 20 years of private-sector business experience and is recognized by clients and colleagues as a consummate professional with a strong work ethic, a talent for resourceful business solutions and a capacity for motivational leadership and mentoring. Carolyn earned her undergraduate degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Entrepreneur Leadership and Advanced Entrepreneur Leadership programs at the University of Buffalo.

XTO Energy Public and Government Affairs Manager
Karen joined ExxonMobil in February 2010 as a corporate media relations adviser in Irving, Texas. She transferred to XTO’s Pittsburgh office in August 2011 to serve as the public and government affairs manager for the states of New York, Pennsylvania, New York and West Virginia. Before joining ExxonMobil, Karen was the media relations director for the American Petroleum Institute in Washington DC. She grew up in eastern Ohio and graduated with a communications degree, summa cum laude, from Bethany College in West Virginia.
