About Us

The Michael Mackie Project is a Pine Township–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating inclusive, adaptive experiences for children and young adults with disabilities and their families.

Our mission is to ensure that every child has access to “typical” childhood experiences — from sports and recreation to arts, community events, and social engagement — in welcoming, supportive environments where inclusion is intentional and meaningful.

Our flagship program, MVP: Michael’s Victory Players, began with adaptive football and continues to expand into additional sports and community-based programming. Through strong partnerships with local schools, youth organizations, businesses, and volunteers, we create opportunities that promote dignity, confidence, connection, and belonging.

The Michael Mackie Project believes inclusion strengthens communities. As a member of the Pittsburgh North Chamber of Commerce, we look forward to collaborating with local leaders and businesses to expand access, increase awareness, and build a more inclusive region for all families.
