Retail Owners Workshop

Joline Atkins and Cassie Brkich will share how one grassroots community organization pivoted in the wake of COVID-19 by switching from foot traffic to click traffic. 

Underground Beaver’s original mission of bringing traffic to our local shops through community events enjoyed by hundreds of guests, shifted to collaborative online experiences during this season of social distancing. 

We will share duplicatable tips that can be implemented by enthusiastic community members, even without having a formal organization.

About (The Tri-County Growth Collaborative)

The Tri-County Growth Collaborative was formed to address issues facing small business owners and our community due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber, Beaver County Chamber, Butler County Chamber, Butler County Tourism & Convention Bureau, Butler County Community Development Corporation, Cranberry Twp., Butler County, Job Corps and the SBA Pittsburgh District Office joined this newly formed partnership, with the following goals:

Bring HOPE to our community by leading the charge for employees and businesses. (Strength in Numbers!)
Developing work groups to assist recovery efforts in each affected industry.
Vetting relevant information as it pertains to businesses during the COVID-19 crisis. By creating one voice in the Allegheny, Beaver, and Butler Counties to communicate this information we hope to lessen the amount of emails flooding your mailboxes.
