2016 Day of Caring

The Chamber Outreach committee has scheduled a Day of Caring at Hosanna Industries. Hosanna is a local  nonprofit that helps impoverished people in our region. They have a campus in New Sewickley Township that houses a volunteer dormitory, a warehouse for charitable materials, a trade skill learning center, etc.. They host a spring campus cleanup day to prepare the campus gardens, and the Chamber is providing volunteers for this effort, so that the majority of Hosanna's time over the spring and summer months can be used to lead volunteers to help needy households. In the late summer and fall, Hosanna will then harvest and can the garden vegetables to gift to the mission's clients and supporters. Lunch will be provided. Hosanna will provide leadership and instruction throughout the day.
