The Pittsburgh North Regional Chamber's third annual Nonprofit Conference has something for everyone, not just nonprofit organizations. Topics this year can apply to professionals that work in any field.
This year's conference will include a panel discussion on collaboration featuring Judy Eakin, Executive Director of HEARTH, Grace Coleman, Executive Director at Crisis Center North and Fay Morgan, President and CEO at Passavant Hospital Foundation. Morning breakout sessions include Karen Rath of Huntington Bank speaking on strategic planning and Paul Harris and Debbie Walker from Alcoa discussing securing corporate grant funding and improving corporate collaborations. Afternoon breakout sessions include creative fundraising, presented by Bri Cole of Junior Achievement of Northern California and social media marketing. The conference also features a tradeshow and networking lunch. "The Nonprofit Conference is designed to help nonprofits within our regional business footprint to maximize their presence in the community, initiate strategic partnerships and grow funding," said Becky Morella, Past Board of Directors Chair.
