DESCRIPTION:Pittsburgh School of the Arts began in 2015 when Kate Griffin\, who had been teaching piano since age 12\, hired a few additional instructors to teach out of her home. Today\, our studio has grown to a two-story commercial facility with an on-site recording studio and media lab. Our program offers a wide range of instruction in private and group settings. We offer private lessons in voice\, piano\, acoustic guitar\, electric guitar\, bass guitar\, ukulele\, violin\, viola\, cello\, upright bass\, mandolin\, banjo\, songwriting\, recording\, and more. We also offer group classes in music theory\, visual arts\, creative writing\, world percussion\, and more. Our studio also hosts summer camps\, bi-annual recitals\, performance opportunities\, and competitions.
