CHROME Federal Credit Union invites you to celebrate the re-grand opening of their Wexford branch location showcasing their spin on the banking community; providing innovative solutions to manage your money--banking that WOWs you.
From 4-6 p.m. on Thursday, March 22nd, CHROME will host an Open House - open to the community! - with refreshments, tours of the facility, and special giveaways. CHROME was founded in 1971 and was originally Washington Steel Employees Federal Credit Union - a credit union formed for the Washington steelworkers and currently has two branches in Washington County. On October 1, 2016 CHROME merged with Pittsburgh Central Federal Credit Union which was established in 1936 and originally formed for the officers of credit union’s around the area. The re-grand opening will be a celebration of the merger of these financial cooperatives.
In addition, CHROME will be recognized for their commitment by the U.S. Small Business Administration SBA Pittsburgh District Office in their inaugural lending activity award. This distinguished award recognizes CHROME's support in local job creation and commitment to local small businesses capital needs in the community.
